Is it the end fest of pickup art?
Almost five years after the release of the book that changed the life of many AFC’s, “The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pick-up Artists” and a couple of years after the airing of Mystery’s reality show “The Pick Up Artist” we cannot stop to ask ourselves, where is the pick up going now? Are we doomed after every girl knows our game?
As the media broadcasted all your tactics and gambits it seems that everywhere you go, everyone knows your game. Is the community classic line “Who lies more?” already became the “What’s your sign” of our generation?
See, the mainstreaming of the pickup arts brought up many questions that you can ask to yourself? Will your game still work despite the popularity of your lines and tactics? Do I have to walk to the club paranoid thinking that the next girl that I will approach had watched VH1’s reality show or had read Neil Strauss? Am I screwed? What am I gonna do now?
As I see it, pick up arts will never die. As long as there are men who are deprived to be with quality women, these men will always look and invent for ways to get their share of the pie. If you are to examine to look at the demographics of the men who study pick up, most of the time these are intellectual portion of the population who are successful in other areas of life but screwed themselves when it comes to the opposite sex. It is a no brainer that they will still come up to a new approach that will still make them in demand in the game. It is just a natural dynamics of history, the rising of the fallen!
Also, in my opinion and experience, I don’t believe that the mainstreaming of the Pick Up arts will totally ruin the game of these men. Tactics and gambits are just a manifestation of the principles and ideology that these men possess (at least the really advance men of this endeavor). What they do know is not only the particular line that can make the girl giggle but the raw attraction switch itself. It is like taking a math exam, it does not matter if what comes out on the exam is not the same example problem that you studied, as long as you have the foundational formula itself, you can still answer the problem. In Pick Up, as long as you know and able to play the attraction switches correctly in addition to your possession of the right mindset and expectation, you will still get the girl no matter what.
If there is a next patch of pick up that will take the whole of pick up community in the whole world, it is these.. A greater focus to your inner game rather than the particular gambits and routines you can say to a woman. If you are stuck with just using routines and tactics and not bothered to improve yourself from the inside, there is no difference between you and a snail whose only protection is its shell. If your tactics and gambits are your only weapons and armor, the moment it break down (which is happening now) you are only left with your thin and hollow soul.
Is it the end fest of pickup art?
NO.
NEVER.
