Stop being an observer. I’ve seen and known many guys who are stacked in observing things, events and people. They are going no where. What are you? A divine being? A demigod?
This is a lesson I learned the long and hard way. In my younger days, I am a keen observant. I observed things and peoples. I used my ‘one of a kind gift’ of judging and analyzing things. I observe lovers. I observe couples. I observe every form of social dynamics. It almost seems that I am way above these people and things that I am observing. Where did it brought me? No where.
Nothing big happened to me until I put my self out there. Nothing happened until I put my self to a position that I will learn the things first hand. Nothing good happened to me until I started participating. In fact, the ‘goals’ I achieved in my 5 years of observing are no match when compared to the goals I achieved in 6 months of participating.
Yes. It was difficult at first to be a part of the . It seems that in a blink of an eye, you lose your status. A status where you see your self to be above the majority of the population But when you really you think of it, do you really have a status? No. All you have is an imaginary status. It sucks at first, its a stretch to your comfort zone anyway. All in a sudden you are faced with a possibility of failure first hand. But take in mind, you are also faced with experiencing success first hand.
My attitude in preferring participation over observation is the reason why I prefer the internet over television. Television is a one way street wherein you merely observe what is going around. You are given a small chance (or nothing at all) to participate. This is also the reason why I spent less than 0-24 hours of watching TV a year. On the other hand, the internet or web gives you the chance to participate, to act, to say, to influence others. You can blog, you can report, you can discuss. Too bad most people don’t use this privilege.
Summing it up, the best thing to do is this:
OBSERVE WHAT IS GOING AROUND AND JUMP OUT THERE AND PARTICIPATE.
or
JUST JUMP OUT THERE AND LET THE 90% OF THE POPULATION OBSERVE YOU.
