Today I will create a new class of articles in this blog. This new portion of the blog which we shall call as ‘Jerk’s Confession’ will be more personal in terms of themes and topics. The topic is me or whoever the writer is. The article may contain the realizations, epiphanies or frustration of the author.
In the first release of ‘Jerk’s Confession’ I would like to share to you my experience in a writing community to which I belong. I am compensated to write in that particular site (to learn about the website I am talking about, click here). The community has a rating system wherein we are rated according to the competency of our articles. In the first week, with more than 10 articles submitted, I was glad I got a rating of more than 92% of the articles I submitted. Some of the articles I submitted are the writings I’ve done before and some are written specifically for the community. Later, I realized that having two mouths to feed (in terms of writing, TCJ and that site) is very time consuming. Later on I decided to integrate my writings in that site in TCJ. I will choose the topic that will I will write there that I can also use here in TCJ. Of course, most of the topics are concerned with the dynamics of jerkness and jerkhood. Things started to go south a couple of days after submitting some of my jerk articles. My rating started to go down, from 92%, it drop below 85% and later below 76%. I believe it is not a coincidence. Articles are rated with my co-writers in the site. I believe that this is because most people still can’t believe and does not want to believe in the truth that we are revealing in this site. They can’t believe that though they dislike jerks, they like them at the same time. Too bad their minds are closed in seeing this reality.
So for my readers out there, don’t be sad if people don’t want to believe in your ideas. You don’t need to convince them. You don’t need them to believe you. Truth hurts most of the time and only few people can afford truth. Truth is more expensive than diamonds.
